I decided to write an 'about me' section to my website. This will not be exhaustive and may change from time to time.
I'm very happily married to the most wonderful woman on the face of the planet. She is my best friend and I simply don't know what I'd do without her. After Christ, she is number one in my life. I currently have one, very hyperactive toddler who keeps me on my toes at all times. He currently occupies third place in my life. Some have said, "You're payin' for your raisin'."
I've worked for Teris (formerly ENSCO) for the past 7 years in the Information Technologies department. I've held various positions ranging from Mobile Support Coordinator, Network Infrastructure and Support Manager, to my most recent role, IT Security Engineer. I work with a great group of people and enjoy working with each one of them.
My personal life consists of home and church. I attend Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Smackover, (strange, huh) Arkansas. I'm a Christian conservative. I try to live my life by the principles set forth in the Holy Bible. If you see me doing something wrong, don't blame God, blame me. I tried life for many years without God and found it is much more peaceful (and takes less faith) to believe that where their is a design, there simply must be a Designer. Through experience and faith I've chosen to believe that Jesus Christ is the One and only perfect Son of God. I believe He paid the ultimate sacrifice, not only by dying, but actually suffering eternal separation from God as He hung on the cross. Since He didn't deserve death, the Creator gave Him back His life (after three days) and allowed Him to ascend into Heaven where He lives today. I believe that ultimately God's design and 'rules' are here for our good, not to keep us from 'having fun'. I believe that any person who comes to the point in their life where they are willing to accept the Truth, allow God to change them, and believe the saving work of Jesus, they will be saved from eternal separation from God. I do not believe that doing "things" send you to hell anymore than going to McDonald's makes you a hamburger. Conversely, I do not believe that doing "things" will earn your way into heaven. There is only ONE WAY to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. It's that simple. I do not wish to push my beliefs on others forcefully, but am happy to share with anyone why I believe the way I do. The best salesman is a satisfied customer. I am satisfied with God, friend!
I enjoy learning new things, which is why I chose to spend time with this website. I am a fanatic when it comes to time and task management. I've tried many things in an attempt to better manage my workload and sometimes feel like it is too much to manage. I'm sure you've felt this way before too. Let me know if you have any pointers. For recreation, I enjoy fishing and camping, but mostly I enjoy being in nature and 'away from it all'. I like tinkering with electronic devices, such as my Treo 650 and HP Tablet PC.

What is Bloglet and Why Should I Subscribe?
So you want to know what you're subscribing to, eh? I can't say I blame you. Bloglet is a service that allows people (like you) to subscribe to BLOGS (like mine) so that when I post something new to the site, you will be notified by e-mail. Pretty cool, huh? You won't even have to visit my site to read my posts, although I hope you will. This is a good alternative to those of you who haven't discovered RSS Readers.
You can read the FAQ on Bloglet here.
